Dear chessfriend,
Thank you for the explanation. I really had no idea when you offer draw after 12th move.
I will accept a draw if you will offer next time. Now I just want to explain my point of view.
I have counted - 37 of my relatives (those I know and met personally in the past) are in Ukraine now. A brother in Rivne, a sister in Kovel, cousins in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lebedin and Hadiach and so on. Many of them are refugees now. A sister of my mother is in her hometown Kreminna now, in which there is no electricity for many days. I spent hours in local chats (and many people in Russia do the same) to identify destroyed building, to check are my relatives still alive. Local people can not answer - their phones are completely discharged.
My situation is not unique. In every town in Russia (may be in every house) you can find people who closely connected to people from Ukraine. So no need to explain to me how awful this war.
Correspondence chess for me is a chance for a dialogue. I believe only dialogues can stop this war and prevent other. And I am happy that such type of communication is still possible.
